What are these camps?
MWV School to Career camps are community-based, hands-on summer programs that introduce students to real career fields through immersive learning experiences. Each camp is designed and led in partnership with local professionals and organizations, giving students the opportunity to explore skills and industries in authentic settings.
These are not traditional classroom camps. Students work in small groups, engage in practical activities, and gain exposure to potential career pathways while building confidence and real-world skills.
Who are they for?
MWV School to Career camps are designed primarily for middle and early high school students, with specific grade levels varying by program. Camp options are available for students entering grade 1 through grade 12.
Each camp page clearly lists the intended grade level and any specific expectations for participation.
Our programs are ideal for students who are curious, responsible, and eager to engage in hands-on learning in real-world settings.
How much do the camps cost and are scholarships available?
Please see the individual camp listing for costs. A reduced cost is available during registration based on school reduced or free lunch status. Additional financial assistance is available via scholarships, please complete the request form on our Scholarships page prior to registration.
Scholarship requests are handled on an honor system and are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis until available funds are exhausted. The maximum scholarship per camper will not exceed 100% of camp cost.

What is the refund policy?
In the event you cannot attend the MWV School to Career camp you may be entitled to a refund. You will receive a full refund as long as you provide written notice (letter or email) no less than 30 days prior to the start of the camps. If you notify us less than 30 days from the start of the camps you will receive a 50% refund. No refund will be issued if you cancel less than 14 days from the camp start date.
When do the camps take place?
Camps take place from late June through July of 2026.
What times are the camps held?
The camps start between 8 - 9 AM and end from 3-4 PM, depending on the camp. Please see individual camp listings for details. Camp times may vary due to field trips and other variables. In addition, camps often end early on Fridays.
Where do the camps take place?
Most School to Career camps are based at Kennett High School and the MWV Career & Technical Center in North Conway. Depending on the program, campers may also travel to partner locations for hands-on, real-world experiences.
These locations may include local businesses, hospitals, outdoor recreation sites, theaters, airports, or community organizations connected to each camp’s focus area. Specific details are provided in each camp description prior to registration.
How does registration work?
Registration is best done online. You must complete the registration form and add to cart for each camper (if registering more than one child) and for each camp (if registering your child for more than one camp). Please gather the requested information ahead of time to make the form easier to complete. After checkout, we'll provide a link to the required waiver. We will contact you to confirm your registration within 2 weeks.
Can I register more than one camper?
Yes, you may register multiple children in one order. Please follow these steps:
- For the first camper, visit the desired camp listing, complete the registration form, and add to the cart.
- For the next camper, visit the desired camp listing, complete the registration form, and add to the cart.
- Complete step 2 for additional campers or checkout if you're done.
Can I register my child for more than one camp?
Yes, children may take more than one camp. Please follow these steps:
- For the first camp, visit the desired camp listing, complete the registration form, and add to the cart.
- For the next camp, visit the desired camp listing, complete the registration form, and add to the cart.
- Complete step 2 for additional camps or checkout if you're done.
